Eat
Yes, food can help you grow in holiness! As Catholics over the age of 14, we are called to abstain from meat and fast on Ash Wednesday and Fridays during Lent. Of course, those with dietary or medical needs are exempted. That said, you will be most welcome to join together with family and fellow parishioners for fellowship and shared purpose during our Friday soup and fish fry meals.
Re-connect with your friends and families this Lent. Why not reach out to neighbors and friends that have drifted away from the faith and invite them to break bread with you?
