Women’s Cornerstone
“Beloved, you are home.”

I have been part of the team that organizes the Cornerstone for Women retreat at Saint James.  The goal of our retreat is to help you grow personally in the knowledge and love of God and to build a community of women who support and encourage each other.  To date, over 100 women have attended our retreat and we have a wonderful thriving community and ministry.

I used to think that the most important thing in life was to get the best grades to get into a good college, get a good job, become financially independent, get married, have kids.  I don’t think that way anymore.  Now, I believe that the most important thing in life is, whatever decision you make big or small; you choose what pleases God.  Then you will have abundant joy, peace, virtue, and your life will be perfectly ordered.  I also believe that we are all called to be a blessing to others using the gifts, talents, resources and time that God has uniquely given each one of us.

Today, I can truly say I am a much better version of myself than I was back then.

I’d like to invite the women in our parish to register for our retreat.   We have a limited number of slots and encourage you to register to reserve a spot.

I don’t know how start to thank you and all the ladies that gave us so much love in those 26 hours that we spent together, reinforcing our faith in God.  Thank you, once more. Please, let Elena, Gabriela, Amy, Annali, Kristal, Lupe, Karen and all the Cornerstone angels know how grateful I am for this experience.

Everything was on time and the details, Wow! So beautiful, very touching, loved, loved…  Lots of beautiful emotions!️️️

Thank you.  Today, I spent some time in church reflecting on the retreat.  I am feeling closer to God.

Good Morning, my dear beautiful sisters,

I want to thank you for such a beautiful retreat.  What a way to share 26 hours of Love, Faith, Courage, Determination, Prayer, Peace.  I believe our Lord and our amazing sisters personally prepared for us. I’ve spend the most amazing 26 hours with God and each of you ladies.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making me feel special and loved. I can’t even believe everything that happened there, so special with all the beautiful, meticulous preparation by our sisters.
Oh, My Lord. All I can say is thank you again for creating beautiful memories, new family, and to know that I am not alone.  I have family, more sisters and most of all our Lord was present with us every single minute, guiding us and letting us know that we are important, that He can fix everything if only we believe in Him.

Dear sisters, please know that I am just a phone call away if anyone needs anything.

Thank you, Lord.  Thank you, Jesus Christ. I love you with all my heart.
